End of School Field Trip!

Sooooo, I have to confess, that my nearly 42 year old body had to be encouraged into leading this adventure…but was blessed abundantly that it went off ‘without a hitch’. I planned a trek to the Denver Mint and Capitol building for a group of 19 homeschool kids. Two other mamas joined me, and we bravely adventured on uncharted waters!

First time sleep-overs for a 5:00am departure time…

We made it down to the ‘free ticket’ window in the allotted one hour (7-8am) they are open time frame for a 9:30 tour of the mint! Praise God. Just for fun sometime, you should read the website that tells you how to tour the mint…no advance tickets, only same day…no on-line booking…no guarentee of a tour time….many hoops to jump through…But I’m so thankful that Our great God takes note of the fervent prayers of his girl.

Even down to the blessing of early morning parking/driving ease, and an open at 7:30am capitol building so we could use the potties.

We got to explore the capital building while the janitors were still spiffing up the place!!

And getting another photo of our ‘three amigos’ was priceless.
